Looking at icebergs in Tors Cove, 2008. Our greyhound, Jet, is not impressed by the display and is stealthily planning his escape.
Playing with Jet and his visiting greyhound friend (the late Mat) in our back garden.
Greyhounds are described by some as "40mph couch potatoes". Jet is shy and doesn't have much personality. Here he is having a rare moment of what I think is glee. Or perhaps he was getting in better position to pass gas.

So I have to be a Greyhound to be a "40mph couch potato?" Where's the fun in that? Lol.
:D
Those greyhounds can move pretty quick... but like most people, they just need the right motivation.
Otherewise why run if ya don't need to?
Dogs are such dignified creatures.
I'm enjoying this peek into you life!
And I totally agree with Rant - why run? The only way this body will be moving at any pace faster than a crawl will be if I'm running for my life.
I think Jet is sweet in his own sketchy, paranoid sort of way. That victory lap is something to see. :)
Our dog, Kirra, lies exactly the same way. What a life they have :)
